Important Notice for U.S. Customers (Effective August 29, 2025):

Japan Post has informed us of possible customs delays or returns of U.S.-bound parcels due to the suspension of the $800 de minimis exemption. Please be aware of the following:

• Starting Aug 29, 2025, U.S. Customs may charge duties on all imports, even under USD 800.
• Duties (or Import Tax) are the responsibility of the buyer/importer, not CSTOYS.
• USPS typically collects duties and fees at delivery. 
• If the recipient refuses to pay, the parcel may be returned to Japan.
• CSTOYS will not refund product cost or shipping fees if a parcel is returned for duty refusal.
• Any re-shipping costs due to customs delays or returns will be borne by the customer.

We inspect and test pre-owned items whenever reasonably possible. However, due to age, previous use, international delivery, and changes in temperature or humidity, we cannot guarantee that lights, sounds, electronics, batteries, joints, motors, sensors, or other mechanical/electronic features will continue to function permanently after purchase.

For customers outside the European Union, pre-owned items are generally sold as-is and are not eligible for return or refund unless the item is significantly different from the product description or we made a clear error.

Returned items may be subject to a reduced or rejected refund if they are opened, used, damaged, incomplete, missing parts, or returned in a condition different from how they were delivered.

REGARDING VAT / IMPORT DUTIES / CUSTOMS FEES:

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, VAT, customs fees, brokerage fees, carrier handling fees, or other local charges depending on the destination country.

For United States DHL DDP shipments, applicable import duties and taxes handled through DHL are included in the checkout amount.

For other destinations or shipping methods, import-related charges are generally the customer’s responsibility unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout.
