The UK generally gets the same Japanese anime that the US does - Pokemon and Dragon Ball have been hugely popular since their heyday, and a lot of other anime like Sailor Moon, Digimon and One Piece have been shown in the UK. In recent years, anime has grown in presence. Many anime films get shown at the cinema - both original films like "A Silent Voice and Belle," as well as ones for existing franchises. I've seen all three "My Hero Academia" films and Dragon Ball Super: Broly at my local cinema. One TV channel has aired anime for older viewers like Kill la Kill and Psycho Pass.

There is a lot of Japanese anime that are popular in France. for exemple famous one like Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World : we have a french release of both the light novel and manga, as well as a DVD release of Season 1 of the anime. both in japanese with french subtitle and exclusive french dub. The Rising of the Shield Hero : we also have a release of the manga in french as well as both anime Season 1 (with a DVD release) and Season 2 dubbed in French.
Lastly Puella Magi Madoka Magica : the two recap movies of the anime were aired in french dub on our japan theme TV channel called "J-One" in 2016. also the 3rd movie "Rebellion" had a premiere in paris movie theater "The Grand Rex" back in november 22th 2013, with on top of that after it got premiere of the two first episodes of its spin-off anime Magia Record as well.

I'm going to have to say Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon, and One Piece would be the most popular Anime, followed by Yu-Gi-Oh!, Digimon, and then a number of other Anime which now include Persona 5 as the game has now found traction on all consoles and PC and I'm trying to hunt down the Persona Games to have as a history of Persona Game Collection.
