Gift Card Code Mystery finally Solved :)

We sell our Store Gift Cards to our customers for their needs and we often use these to support and help our customers for many occasions. However we have been receiving a few complains that they were not able to use the code when they check out. 

We have been investigating what is happening with the Gift Card codes we are issuing and thanks to Shopify's online support, I think we found the cause in a very unexpected way.

Chelsea here from Shopify.

Where exactly are you trying to enter the code, discount code or gift card? The error " Unable to find a valid discount matching the code entered " seems like it could be from trying to enter the giftcard code into the discount code section. Let me know! :)

Like she pointed out, there are 2 types of codes we have. One is "Store Gift Code" and the other is "Discount Code". And they are 2 different codes that do not work one another.
