Updates on Rebooting "Hero☆Star" Tokusatsu Bar (2016/12/09)

December 09, 2016

Hero Star Tokusatsu BarAfter we did our live-streaming show, Today's Arrival (2016/12/09), we visited Hero☆Star to check on their construction progress. Mr. Wakafuji, the owner of the bar, welcomed us there and gave us some updates on it.

The picture on the left shows Mr. Wakafuji standing next to the bar counter and you see it is still not completed at this point. He explains that the counter will be covered with acrylic board on the top of it and many on mini-size figures will be displayed in the case with LED lights. So when you sit at the counter with your drinks, you can see through all the figures right beneath your arms on the counter. When you look out of the window form the counter,  you will see 2 of 7-8 feet-tall Hero Figures standing by the windows behind Mr. Wakafuji. Above your head, there will be more clear cases and shelves for like Megazords and other Toku-Hero figures to be displayed.

Hero Star Bar Hero☆Star is not just for the drinks and toys. There will be  a mini Karaoke stage way back in the room with large 3 LCD displays as well as  DAM Karaoke System will be installed for Tokusatsu Fans to sing their favorite Toku-related Karaoke themes. Not just for the toku-dans, but this mini-stage will be used by  Ani-son & Tokusatsu Song Singers in near future as Mr. Wakafuji plans to invite many of them just like he did last time

The bar will be open on Dec. 20th for only limited friends & customers and Mr. Wakafuji & CSTOYS International are planning a small party on Saturday, Dec. 24th starting from  2 PM JST live-streaming from Hero☆Star. We will be testing out our Online Karaoke party for the first time ever with you and our friends from the world as well. More details on this will be coming soon so stay tuned.

These days we are kind of addicted to one song called "Headlight" from Mie Joké's 2nd album "Goodbye today", and we have been playing this particular song at the end of our show every week. She is from Uwajima City and well-known for her exceptional voice and her talent in singing English jazz vocals. The song "Headlight" is in Japanese but our favorite one that portraits life's uncertainty as driving in dark with only dimming headlights and the song ends with one strong message:
